What is a Symposium?
A symposium is a group of individual oral presentations of 20 minutes each on a specific topic.
The topics are listet in the "List of topics" of the congress. The participant indicates the number of the topic in the "Abstract submission form", and the organizing committee of the congress joins the presentations according to the topics indicated by the participants. An example is given under "Abstract submission".
What is a Workshop?
A workshop is a unit of 6 presentations of 30 minutes each, which deals with a specific topic in detail. It is organized by a lead-scientist, who invites 6 participants to contribute to the workshop.
The lead-scientist fills in the "Workshop submission form" and sends it to the organizing committee. The participants of the workshop fill in the "Abstract submission form" indicating the workshop. An example is given under "Abstract submission".
The organizers of workshops are requested to register preliminary proposals officially not later than 1st of June 2008 (use the form for final proposal). You find registration forms under Abstract submission form.
